Childhood Area

The Women Solidarity Comission of Tzedakah Foundation (ALL VOLUNTEERS) finances the Programs of the Comprehensive Area for Childhood and Teenagers. The aim of this area is to improve healthy development for children and teenagers coming from needy families of the social system, through the following Programs:

The aim of this program is to prevent diseases while promoting a better quality of life through a healthy diet.

This program is not only designed to cover a need like food which is basic for the development of any human being but it also provides guidance to parents about food preparation, saving of resources and about the benefits that a healthy diet can provide them. All this is done through the organization of workshops where parents are trained by specialists
A space for children from poor Jewish households between the ages of 2 and 12. We offer them a cozy place with clean facilities and responsible staff that will look after them during after school hours while their parents work or seek employment.
This program responds to the needs of parents to have a space for their children to enjoy their vacations in a friendly, fun and at the same time safe Jewish environment.
The aim of this program is to provide children with all the necessary school supplies, shoes and back bags, so that they are able to attend class in the same conditions as their peers and enjoy the same rights. Thus, students are furnished with the tools they need while education is promoted as the main pillar for the development of every human being.
By offering the beneficiaries of our system the possibility to integrate to our community we are also giving them the opportunity to connect themselves with their roots and to learn the basic values of our peoples. This will also allow them to perpetuate the Jewish traditions in their own families.
