This program meets the need of parents to provide an area where their children can enjoy holidays in a happy and protected Jewish environment. Jofesh operates in the summer, winter and spring holidays. In summer the children attend a club where they enjoy the swimming pool and participate in outdoor activities. In winter and spring they have the opportunity to visit museums, the zoo, and go to the theater and the movies. The Program develops several proposals, always within a frame of education and transmission of values, so that children aged from 2 to 12 can have a good time and enjoy their holidays; it operates every day, full time, from morning to afternoon, in the friendly place Lev Gadol.
Since 2008 the Program Jofesh begun the holiday experience for adolescents aged between 13 and 16 years, with group activities, attending to the needs and interests corresponding to this stage of their development and integrating them through the participation in activities of Lev Gadol, collaborating in taking care of certain the tasks related to smaller children. In addition, there is interest in jointly working with another Community Programa for teenagers, which has the backing of Solidarity Women, and is focused on the integration into the community of adolescents from families in situation of economic and social vulnerability through periodic activities during the year.
