![]() Net- Hapoalim The objectives of the fund are to: In turn, youth covered by the program work as volunteers in social programs for the community, participating in the community network and experiencing the Tzedaka concept of justice and social responsibility. The program is therefore able to integrate, into a Jewish environment, young Jews who used to be quite detached from community life. In addition to all this, students are encouraged to join community programs that provide occupational guidance and facilitate their access into the labor market. They are also actively involved in Jewish life through their participation in social programs aimed at solidarity work in exchange for what the program provides them. Youth are further encouraged to participate in the community network by allowing them to plan, manage and work on the development of “basic elements collection projects” aimed at catering for the needs of the most vulnerable sectors of the community. Thus, campaigns have been organized to collect didactic material, clothing and medications. Likewise, in order to perpetuate and support youth integration to community life, young Jews in Uruguay are encouraged to attend once a year an Integration Seminar with young Argentine members of the same program where they share cultural and recreational activities as well as knowledge on Jewish tradition Image Gallery
