Protected workshop ‘la savonnière’ – ‘fragrances for the soul’

The work insertion program of tzedaka foundation promotes – among other action lines – the formation of protected workshops for the production of different articles, in order to give opportunities to generate income to the persons who receive the assistance of the social centres of the community.
The protected workshop ‘la savonnière’ – fragrances for the soul vbegan its activities in may. Six women learned the techniques for the manufacture of handcrafted soaps and already in september, under the coaching of the program they began marketing their products.
These soaps are manufactured with high quality raw materials and, since they are handmade, special care is given to the preparation of each soap in order to obtain an excellent product. The workshop managed to produce a wide range of soaps: exfoliating, moisturizing, fragrant, among others, with several packaging, for different occasions: personal use, presents, party souvenirs, to perfume drawers, or avoid paying an empty-handed visit.
